A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Because They Need You (pic unavailable) is a set of 40 devotionals taken from the author’s blogs where she enjoys talking to you, friend to friend, about the joys and trials of raising children.  It’s small enough to fit in your purse or briefcase, great to buy for a friend who needs a little pick me up, and reasonably priced so you can buy one for yourself as well.  Get ready to be encouraged and challenged in a lighthearted way while taking a deeper look at the heart the author has for her own children and those she loves.  Sit down, grab your favorite beverage, and get ready to be uplifted while journeying together as parents.   Available at Amazon.com.

Cheri, what inspired you to write these devotionals?

These two devotionals came from my blog.  I started a blog in October 2011, and received such positive feedback from it.  One day someone suggested that I turn these individual blogs into a devotional book and so I decided, why not have one that is more general for anyone and one that is geared toward parents?  It has been a blessing to have this opportunity to share God’s words with others.

Fantastic, Cheri! I'm sure your words will encourage and challenge many!

What is one fun thing my readers might not know about you?

I started a tradition two years ago where every Sweetest Day, we eat dessert in place of dinner.  Every year it’s something different and every year we all look forward to it!

Intriguing! Is Sweetest Day the same as Valentine's Day?

Hello Cheri, nice to get to know you. Your devotional sounds very good. That Sweetest Day tradition sounds like a great idea. I may have to look into doing that myself. :)
God bless.
