Every 26 Seconds . . .

According to Destiny Rescue, a Christian organization that works to rescue and restore children from sexual slavery, "every 26 seconds another child is trafficked, most sold into sexual slavery."

My novel, Chosen Ones, profiles a young Nepali girl caught up in the horrors of slavery. When she meets a missionary couple in crisis, each of them will receive a precious gift, but not in a way they expected or hoped for.

A portion of proceeds from Chosen Ones goes to support a girl who is now in a Destiny Rescue safe house learning a trade in order to support herself.

One of the ways Destiny Rescue raises funds to support the ministry is by selling jewelry hand-crafted by the girls. Here is a necklace I purchased recently.

And the matching bracelet.

You can even host a jewelry party by ordering a Destiny Rescue kit! Better yet, host a jewelry/Chosen Ones party! And raise funds to help these girls!
